The wait is over. Amazon Prime Day is officially on for 2024. It will run until 21 July in Australia.

Prime Day is one of the biggest sale events in Amazon’s calendar. If previous years are any guide, there will be some pretty huge discounts across tech and gaming in particular.

The biggest catch with Amazon Prime Day is that unlike the Big Smile Sale, the savings are only really eligible to Prime customers.

Prime will set you back $9.99 per month or $79 per year, but there is a 30-day free trial which you can take advantage of to enjoy the savings without committing to the program.

Having said that, there a plenty of great reasons to subscribe to Prime, like free Amazon Music Streaming, Prime Video and Prime reading unlimited, plus free monthly video games.

Not to mention the fast and free delivery service, which can see you receive your purchase the very next day (in certain locations).

Initially launched back in 2015 to celebrate Prime customers on Amazon’s 20th birthday, it has since become one of the biggest sale events in the calendar.
