Amazon's pre-Black Friday sale is set for October 8-13

Amazon loves a big sale. It feels like my credit card has barely recovered from Prime Day, but Amazon is back at it, confirming that its Prime Big Deal Days sale is scheduled for October 8-13 this year.
While not as big an event as either Prime Day or Black Friday, there are still pretty big discounts on offer for the Big Deal Days event. Last year, we saw discounts on everything from Amazon devices, to Samsung Galaxy products, and even Apple products got a price cut.
The only limitation on the sale is that you need to be a Prime customer in order to receive the discounts. If you haven't tried it yet, Amazon does offer a 30-day free trial of Prime, which also gives you access to Prime Video, which you can use to watch Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, making it worth every penny.
The sale itself will run from 8 October at 00:01AM AEDST through to midnight 13 October, and Prime members will be able to score low prices across all categories including electronics, home and kitchen wares, Amazon Devices, everyday essentials, beauty, video games, books, toys, clothes and shoes and more.
Amazon is promising plenty of big brands as part of the sale as well. Its announcement mentioned the following:

Black Friday is probably still going to offer bigger discounts for your Christmas shopping, but you never know. It's going to be worth checking out if nothing else.
