Apple Watch Series 10 is thinner and lighter, but there's no new Ultra 3 (or SE)
Apple announced its newest Apple Watch with a larger display and thinner design.

You're probably saner than I and didn't spend the early hours of this morning live-blogging the Apple Glowtime event. But if you did, you would have seen Apple announce its Watch Series 10, which has a larger screen and a thinner design.
It measures in at about 10% thinner than the Series 9, while the aluminium model is also 10% lighter. Apple has moved from Stainless Steel to Titanium, which is 20% lighter as well.
The Series 10 has a wide-angle OLED display which is up to 9 % larger than the last few generations of Apple Watch. This should make it easier to type on, or enter a passcode.
You'll get faster charging, with 15 minutes on the charger giving up to eight hours, or 30 minutes taking you to 80% charged.
And if you're a complete jerk, Apple has boosted the Watch's internal speaker, so you can listen to music or have a loud, speakerphone conversation directly from your wrist.
New software and features
In terms of new sensors and data points, the Series 10 will track water depth to about six metres, and measure the temperature of the water once submerged.
There's a new built-in depth app, which shows key information – time, current depth, water temperature, duration under water, and maximum depth – and can be set to automatically activated when you get in the water.
There's also a new Tides app, which helps track tidal information for water sports.
Apple also announced sleep apnea tracking coming to the Watch 10 during the event, but there's no mention of it in the Australian release. Because of its medical nature, the app would likely need TGA approval in Australia, so expect that to be made available via a software update in the future.
Apple Watch Ultra?
If you were hoping for the Apple Watch Ultra 3, I have sad news. Unfortunately, it doesn't exist. Yet.
However, Apple did announce a new black titanium colour for the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
There's also an Apple Watch Hermès Ultra 2, if you like burning money, which comes with a natural titanium case, an "En Mer" band in "Bleu Nuit" (navy) and a special watch face.
It's interesting because this all means that the Watch 10 now has a better processor than the Hero Watch Ultra 2 product.
