Got $25K? Buy a 110-inch 4K Hisense TV
Bigger is better, and it doesn't get bigger than this.
BTTR is independent, but we may earn money when you purchase through links on our site.
Hisense told us it was launching its flagship 110-inch ULED X TV later this year when it launched its 2024 lineup back in April. Now it's here, and it's huge.
Originally announced at CES back in January, the 110-inch ULED X MiniLED flagship TV is available to purchase in Australia now for an RRP of $24,999.
Yep, this TV is more expensive than some cars. It costs more than I used for my house deposit back in 2006. With current sales, you could buy 25 65-inch U6NAU TVs at JB Hi-Fi for the same price.
So yeah, it's pricey.
But it's also pretty impressive that Hisense was able to create this TV at all. Despite its size, it can deliver 10,000 nits of peak brightness, and features 40,000 Full Array Local Dimming zones.
The TV has Hisense's proprietary Dynamic X Display, which reflects 20% less glare and has a 40% wider viewing angle (according to Hisense - I'm not sure what it's comparing to).
There is advanced quantum dot colour reproduction, which is common in premium TVs, but more impressive at this scale.
Plus, you get support for Dolby Vision IQ, HDR 10+ Adaptive, HDR 10, IMAX Enhanced certification and DTS X, so picture quality is going to look pretty spectacular.
"The 110UX marks a pivotal step forward in Hisense’s journey, redefining its TV product line to set new benchmarks in the ultra-premium and large-format display categories. By expanding the ULED and ULED X lineups to include larger screen sizes, Hisense is meeting the growing demand for immersive, big-screen entertainment experiences."
- Chris Kotis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Hisense ANZ.
Naturally, the TV has access to all the streaming services, and comes with Hisense's solar remote control as well.
Pricing and availability
If you've got the cash, the Hisense 110UX is available now at Hisense's online store, as well as limited stock at The Good Guys, Harvey Norman and Bing Lee stores.
As I've mentioned a few times, it has an RRP of $24,999.
(If you are planning on buying this TV, use this affiliate link for The Good Guys, would you? The 2.5% commission on this bad boy would cover BTTR's costs for a couple of years!)
