JB Hi-Fi gets Nothing (Phones), but doesn't lose
The well-regarded Nothing Phone (2) and (2a) are coming to Australia. Here are all the details you need to know.
Big news in the mobile world today. JB Hi-Fi has signed a deal with UK tech company Nothing to be the exclusive retail partner for the highly regarded smartphone in Australia.
From April 11, JB Hi-Fi will start selling the Nothing (2) and Nothing (2a) smartphones both online and in-store across the country.
Who is Nothing?
Nothing was founded back in 2020, and in the past four years has managed to sell 2 million products worldwide – a remarkable effort for a new challenger brand.
Its Nothing Phone (2) launched in the US in 2023, while the Nothing Phone (2a) released this month.
Nothing claims its products are developed in close collaboration with its community, which includes over 8,000 private investors.
Nothing Phone (2)
The current flagship phone from the brand, the Nothing Phone (2) is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and features a 6.7-inch OLED display.
A big part of its success is the built-in camera array, which features two 50MP sensors and paired with advanced 18-bit image signal processing.
The end result is exceptional image quality and true-to-life photography.
