It feels like an age since LG showed us its 2023 TV lineup. While we've already experienced some models (like the BTTR Hall of Fame LG G3 OLED evo), others are still to arrive.

LG has confirmed that two of the more unique offerings, the StanbyME and OLED Flex, are set to arrive from 16 October 2023, with pre-orders open for both models now.

StanbyME

When the night has come, LG is hoping you'll roll out the StanbyME smart TV.

Boasting a 27-inch Full HD touchscreen, the StanbyME is mounted on a stand with 5 hidden wheels in the base, so you can easily move it between rooms of the house. Three-hour battery life means you can even take it outdoors, although it's not weatherproof, so you don't want to leave it out there.

The screen can rotate 180 degrees, swivel 130 degrees, and tilt to 50 degrees. It can also move up and down 20cm, so you can get the perfect position to watch.

It comes with streaming services like Netflix and Disney+ built in, while AirPlay2 and Homekit let you stream content from your Apple devices easily.

The StanbyME has an RRP of $1,999.

LG OLED Flex

The other iconic screen arriving next month is the OLED Flex, a 42-inch gaming monitor that will literally bend in the corners to give you a curved display. It can go from flat to a 900R curve, with 20 different incremental settings between.

The OLED Flex features G-SYNC compatibility and AMD FreeSync, so you can get the best possible gaming experience on the screen.

It also supports Dolby Vision, and offers 4K resolution at 120Hz, with variable refresh rate through its HDMI 2.1 connections.

The LG OLED Flex will set you back $4,999.

Pre-order offer

LG is offering retailer gift card offer for anyone looking to pre-order either the LG OLED Flex or the StanbyME.

Purchases of the LG StanbyME online will receive up to a $200 retailer gift card off the RRP of $1,999 whilst online purchases of the LG OLED Flex will receive up to a $500 retailer gift card off the RRP of $4,999.

You can grab the OLED Flex from Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi and LG online, while the StanbyME will be available from those retailers plus The Good Guys.

Terms and conditions apply, but it could be a great way to save a bit of cash on some unique displays.
