Epson drops a pair of compact document scanners

I use a multi-function Epson printer at home, in part because of those occasional situations I need to scan in a document or two.
But this looks like a much better solution. Epson has just launched two new compact desktop scanners, the ES-C320W and the ES-C380W. The compact footprint makes them great for home offices and shared work spaces.
Both new models offer two-sided scanning, and a 20-sheet auto document feeder, and can scan at 30 ppm.
A flexible scan path makes it easy to scan different types of documents as well, from standard A4 sheets to business cards, and even passports.
With OCR processing, automatic cropping, paper skew correction and using Epson's ScanSmart software, both the ES-C320W and the ES-C380W give the ability to preview and email scans quickly and easily.
While both models are wireless, the ES-C380W includes Epson ScanWay, which lets you scan without connecting to a PC. You can use the device's 2.4-inch LCD to scan to cloud services like OneDrive, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
Pricing and availability
The new Epson scanners are available to purchase now from Epson. The ES-C320W will set you back $399 RRP, while the premium ES-C380W has a $499 price tag.
