The latest air fryer from Ninja Kitchen is a beast. With a massive 10.4 litre capacity, the Ninja XXXL FlexDrawer AF500 air fryer is designed to cook up an entire meal easily.

The two-zone design is enough to fit a whole chicken and 1.5 kg of chips, which can be set to cook both areas to finish at the same time, so your meal is fresh and ready when you want it to be.

The FlexDrawer design is actually just one large drawer, with a drawer divider, which can be removed to cook up a feast in its huge 10.4 Litre MegaZone.

When cooking two separate foods, the XXXL FlexDrawer can cook using two different functions or temperatures. Using its "Smart Finish" function, you simply program each portion as normal and then select Smart Finish to have it all be ready at the same time.

There are seven cooking functions, so not only can you air fry up a storm, you can also bake, roast, reheat, prove or dehydrate or keep your food warm in the appliance.

Here's what each function does:

  • Air Fry: Use this function to give your food crispiness and crunch with little to no oil.
  • Roast: Best for roasting joints of meat and vegetables.
  • Bake: Create decadent baked treats and desserts.
  • Proof: Create an environment for dough to rest and rise.
  • Reheat: Revive leftovers by gently warming them, leaving you with crispy results.
  • Dehydrate: Dehydrate meats, fruits and vegetables for healthy snacks.
  • Keep Warm: Reheat or keep cooked food warm for longer periods of time.

And the whole drawer, plus divider and crisper plates are all dishwasher safe, too, making it easy to clean and cook.

Those are definitely the traits that help products make our list of the best air fryers in Australia, so we'll be watching to see how it performs.
