Ring has launched its most recent home security product, the Stick Up Cam Pro. Building on the previous stick up cameras, the new model uses radar sensors found in other Pro Ring devices to measure the distance of an object in its field of view.

The addition of radar sensors lets you create much more specific areas for detecting motion. This means you'll get much more accurate alerts about what's happening on your property.

In addition to the radar sensors, Ring also includes an HDR camera and colour night vision modes, so you can get a clear picture of your home at any time of day in a range of lighting conditions.

There's also the advanced pre-roll feature to capture the six seconds leading up to a motion capture.

Bird's eye view

One of the benefits of the radar sensors is the ability for Ring to offer advanced features like Bird's-eye view, which creates an aerial perspective of your property.

You can then pinpoint specific areas of your property for alerts.

Audio improvements

The Ring Stick Up Cam Pro boasts Audio+, for clear 2-way audio. Two array microphones offer echo cancellation, so you can have an open conversation with anybody near the camera.

If it's not somebody you want around, a security siren can help ward them off.

Weatherproof design, Alexa integration

Needless to say, the Stick Up Cam Pro is designed to get outdoors, with a weatherproof design that can handle getting wet.

Alternatively, you can stick it indoors, depending on your personal security needs. The camera can sit comfortably on a shelf, or be mounted to a ceiling or wall with the included mounting kit.

You also get easy integration with Alexa and Amazon's Echo devices, including the new Echo Hub.
