Samsung has unveiled its new range of 2023 TVs. The range offers superior picture quality, breathtaking audio and advanced personalisation, as well as incorporating the latest SmartThings updates.
The new range includes Samsung OLED TVs, as well as the premium Neo QLED 8K and 4K TVs, Q-Series soundbars and lifestyle display options.
With a screen for every Australian lifestyle, passion and living space, the 2023 range delivers big screen premium viewing and gaming experiences, while incorporating more personalisation options and smart home connectivity.
Jeremy Senior, Vice President of Consumer Electronics at Samsung Australia, said: "Samsung understands that technology should empower and enhance every person's life. That means making big screen experiences more accessible, more intuitive and more personalised to Australians.
"In combining our market-leading TV innovations with unique software solutions such as SmartThings, we're ultimately transforming our TVs from being entertainment units to sitting at the centre of Australian smart home experiences."
The Neo QLED 8K is the top of Samsung's premium range, combining brilliant picture and design with dynamic audio and seamless connectivity, resulting in a versatile screen vivid enough for bright Australian living spaces.
The 8K range features Samsung Quantum Mini LED technology, which powers over 33 million pixels and delivers over a billion shades of colour. The advanced Neural Quantum Processor upgrades content automatically to 8K resolution for improved detail using 14-bit processing and AI upscaling.
Both Neo QLED 8K and 4K TVs deliver bright highlights and a wide range of colours that have been Pantone validated. High-resolution panels automatically apply real-time, scene-by-scene High Dynamic Range (HDR) effects with new Auto HDR Remastering to deliver extraordinary contrast.
Anti-Glare and Ultra Wide Viewing Angle technology helps display clear 8K or 4K quality content at virtually any angle or light, producing vivid colour across the screen.
In making premium big screen TV experiences more accessible and affordable to more Australians, Samsung's Neo QLED range features a variety of screen sizes to suit every need and living space.
OLED models
Samsung's OLED TVs are equipped with Quantum HDR OLED+ technology and powerful processing that can upscale content to incredibly sharp 4K resolution, displaying incredible details and high contrast, regardless of the source resolution.
The S95C and S90C models also offer exceptional motion enhancements, ensuring that high-speed games and movies are consistently crisp.
With Motion Rate 200 and Game Motion Plus achieving up to 144Hz 4K VRR with compatible PC-connected content, the OLED range is suitable for gamers and movie enthusiasts.
At the top of the Samsung OLED range is the S95C, which offers stunning visuals, bold sound, and convenient SmartThings connectivity, all housed in a strikingly slim Infinity Design.
At just 11.2mm thin top to bottom, the S95C OLED is sleek and modern, with a sophisticated metal trim and a bezel-free design for a premium finish. Designed to elevate living spaces and cinema rooms, installation is complete with the choice of a near flush-fit wall mount or a streamlined blade stand.
The Attachable Slim One Connect solution neatly tucks away cords and cables, keeping the focus on the screen rather than the clutter surrounding it.
Undoubtedly we'll see some of these models appear in our list of the best TVs in Australia once reviewers (including us) get their hands on the new models.
