When I reviewed the iPhone 15 Plus last year, I found it was placed in a difficult position. Spec-wise it was too similar to the iPhone 15, but price-wise it overlapped with the much better 15 Pro.
I expected a similar challenge with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, but it’s not quite the same. Samsung has managed to differentiate the Plus and the standard Galaxy S24 enough that the S24 Plus warrants its place in the lineup.
Thanks to a better display and more RAM, it’s actually a technical step up on the S24, which helps on the performance front.
Yet, it’s priced far enough below the S24 Ultra that it makes sense for anyone looking for a larger device, but don’t want to pay the Ultra’s premium price tag.
