After being available for preorder since November, the PlayStation Portal has officially hit store shelves today.

Sony's latest handheld Playstation may not be as portable as the original PSP or the PSVita, but it does offer you some level of mobile gaming.

The PlayStation Portal is a remote player device that let's you remote play games from your PS5 over your home's Wi-Fi connection.

It promises to deliver up to 1080p video at 60fps on its vibrant 8-inch display, with an immersive DualSense experience thanks to the controllers sitting on either side of the screen.

It also has its own 3.5mm headphone jack, so you can game along in silence, though it also works with the new PlayStation Pulse headphones wirelessly.

Where to buy the PlayStation Portal

If you're looking to pick up the new controller, the PlayStation Portal will set you back $329. You can grab it from Amazon, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi or EB Games.
