Unboxing the BlueAnt X5i party speaker
I love the didgeridoo startup sound.
BlueAnt has sent me its new X5i party speaker to review. First impressions: This is a really solid speaker.
It's lighter than I thought it would be, with a handle at the back that makes it really easy to carry around. There are two dedicated slots for the two included microphones, and a groove so you can pop in an iPad or smartphone to read the lyrics while you sing along.
But my favourite thing so far is the startup sound. BlueAnt is an Australian audio company, and the X5i celebrates that by having a cool didgeridoo sound when you power it on.
I'll be testing this out over the coming weeks, but early impressions are that this is a great option for anyone looking for a karaoke speaker or just a solid portable party speaker.
